Colo Springs Field Trip

In August we took a day trip to Colorado Springs. We started at Seven Falls and took the elevator in the mountain about half way up for a good view. There are stairs right along the water but they are steep and I'm not wild about heights. Next we went to the Olympic Training Center for a tour. They show a video then take you around to the different training areas. You can't go inside since the athletes are practicing but it was neat. Our next stop was Garden of the Gods. We were educated at the Visitor's Center then went to walk around. It's really beautiful but that day it was 85 degrees with no clouds so we didn't last long. Our last stop was Red Robin for a Mud Pie!
